Goals

I tend to think a lot about my goals, but don’t always write them down right away. Making a list and establishing those goals will hopefully help me be more effective with putting my aspirations into action in this world.

  1. Serve

Where ever God may lead me in life, I want to serve others around me. Through volunteer service or just everyday actions I want to help those that are in need. I know I have a purpose appointed to me by God to serve and perhaps inspire to serve as well. By serving him and giving back to those who need it I will strive to be a good and faithful servant.

2. Be Intentional

I want to be intentional with all of my actions and have purpose behind them. Walking through everyday life without purpose and just going through the actions, won’t benefit you in any way. When going into a situation, I want to think about results at the beginning before I start. The amount of effort applied is equal to the benefits at the conclusion. I aim to be intentional with all of my actions and ask my self “Why?” and have a valid response to myself.

3. Show Gratitude

Imagine a friend being thankful for something you have done for them. If that person didn’t tell the other he or she wouldn’t know they were appreciated. I want to share with all those whom I am close to how they make me feel and how much of a difference they make in my life. Showing gratitude is so rewarding seeing there reaction is priceless. Perhaps hearing words from others will encourage them to be gracious as well.
